Maharashtra: 25 Shops in Thane Develop Cracks After Nearby Road Caves In

Thane: Nearly 25 shops in Waghoba Nagar in Thane district’s Kalwa area developed cracks on Thursday after a nearby road caved in, though there was no report of injuries to anyone, civic authorities told news agency PTI.Also Read - Maharashtra: 4 Killed as Portion of 5-Storey Building Collapses in Thane's Ulhasnagar“The cracks developed due to digging work being undertaken near the tracks by the railways to construct a protection wall,” Thane Municipal Corporation’s Regional Disaster Management Cell chief Avinash Sawant told PTI.
